James W. Poser, PhD

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Dr. Poser has over 35 years of experience in medical device product development and commercialization. He has held executive positions with Sulzer Orthopedics, Osteotech, Orquest, Stryker Orthopedics, IsoTis Orthobiologics, Kinetic Concepts, SpineSmith and Bone Bank Allografts, and has shepherded several start-up and early-stage companies through product development, approval and successful commercial launch. Two of the companies Dr. Poser started have been acquired by major orthopedic device companies.

Neal K. Vail, PhD

FOUNDER

Dr. Vail has over 20 years of experience in medical device and pharmaceutical product R&D and commercialization. He has held leadership positions at NEC America, Inc., DaimlerBenz AG, Biomedical Enterprises, Southwest Research Institute, and Kinetic Concepts. He has assembled cross-functional teams to execute successful product development programs funded through corporate, private and public stakeholders. He has been a business strategy and technology advisor to several medical device start-ups. Dr. Vail has authored several publications and issued patents.

Larry D. Swain, DDS, MS

FOUNDER

Dr. Swain, in addition to clinical training, has over 30 years’ experience in translational research focused on musculoskeletal, spine and soft tissue regeneration and repair. He is a recognized expert in bone and cartilage development, regeneration, and healing. He has provided counsel to organizations pursuing orthopedic materials and devices, bone active drugs, and wound healing strategies, including appearing on their behalf before the FDA. Dr. Swain is an author on numerous Regenn^®Therapy patents and related publications. He also has academic and governmental-agency affiliations.

Our Technology

Reduced pressure therapy, also known as Negative Pressure Therapy or Negative Pressure Wound Therapy, revolutionized soft tissue wound care and created a multi-billion-dollar market. Progenerative Medical was founded to bring to market Reduced Pressure Therapy-based products that manage the environment of orthopedic wounds.*

The company has an exclusive, world-wide license to a significant portfolio of intellectual property and preclinical data supporting the use of reduced pressure therapy in orthopedic applications.
